Lucio is a president of Cagayano Artists Group Inc. He is a
graduate of Bachelor of Fine Arts. Though he is self-employed in advertising
art, he sustain his passion in fine arts. He continue creating amazing works of
art. In 2004, he is the grand prize winner of the Art Association of the
Philipppines National Art Competition. He is also one of the finalists in 2014
GSIS National Art Competition. He has various awards in Local Art Competition
and he also leads many group exhibit of CAGI.
Working on his unique technique
with a wide range of mediums such as acrylic, oil and mixed media he produce
artworks that deals with human and social issues with a dose of local history
and culture, focusing on ordinary people’s aspirations for a better quality of
life.His current works carry lighter and more optimistic themes about the
simple folk, society and playful creativity. His aim is to inspire young people
through his art
